War of thoughts

Have you ever heard of war of thoughts? Its really hard job to define limits of human brain's imagination. There is no end indeed. Human mind is composed of whatever biological matter, I have least idea! But one thing about which I am sure; these thoughts are not just the links made by neurons, they are also related to our soul which is something different then small electric signals going around in our body. What brings tears in your eyes apart from hormones? Why is so, you sometimes feel so gloomy without any reason. It is quite clear that our Lord has designed and programmed our brains with high sophistication. In this sophisticated brain, millions of thoughts are present, some of which our conscious brain knows and others are strangers to us. This statement might be indigestible, but hang on! you do have dreams, six sense, hallucinations etc.. where do they come from? Its all saved in your brain memory in one way or another and keeps on showing itself to you time by time in different forms! There is something here I would like to add about soul-connections and related things, but I'll describe that in my next post. In your dreams you often see strange things, meet unknown people, even you might not be you in your dreams! Its a deep ocean which has no end, our brains, our thoughts.. But the end do come, end do come! when you feel that you can't think beyond a certain point; this is the very point, when your wisdom and imagination ends, and your Lord's wisdom starts.......
Coming to war of thoughts.. Have someone fought with oneself to get rid of his /her thoughts? Have your thoughts ever had a war? No? Not possible! Believe me or not, you are always in condition between yes and no, do and don't. One channel of your brain urges you to do something, other stops! You are always fighting with your feelings, wishes and thoughts. And one who is successful in an attempt to choose right path, to defeat the wrong part of his thoughts, is a successful person. In Islam, it is called Jehad bin-nafs, meaning fight with oneself. It is considered as a biggest form of Jehad.
I believe that people who switch off their conscience, who never fight with themselves, might remain quite happy. Because they will never regret on their doings and will never repent.. This feeling might seem very attractive to you, but believe me, these people have to repent one day. After passing their whole life  in violence and sin, when they come to the end, they do realize that they have done something terrible.. In this idea of switching off your humanity, the one and only shortcoming for human being is that he is mortal and helpless......
So, I recommend to keep on fighting yourself. Its quite difficult way to go as compared to the second option, but it takes you towards better end..
